The Friends of Beebe Memorial Library holds their annual Book Sale on the first Saturday in June, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., rain or shine. The Sale is held in the wheelchair accessible Fellowship Hall of the First Baptist Church located on Common and Lafayette Streets in Wakefield, MA. Admission is free.
Friday 6-9 p.m. is the special preview night for Friends' Members.
The Friends accept donations of:
Hardcover and Paperback Books Fiction/Nonfiction
Adults' / Children's Literature
DVD, CDs Books on Tape
Where to donate:
Small quantities of books may be dropped off at Lucius Beebe Memorial Library.
For large quantities of books, arrange for a pick-up. Contact: Jody Sherman at 781/245-3631
Unfortunately, textbooks, condensed books, water damaged or heavily damaged books, books without covers, and magazines cannot be used.
