The Friends underwrite many children, teen and adult programs held throughout the year at the Beebe Library. Events sponsored by the Friends as fundraisers include the annual Book Sale and follow-up Book Give-Aways at the Festival by the Lake and at the Farmers Market, as well as holiday quilt raffles. Free programs for all to enjoy include the Literary Teas initiated in  2010 and winter book-swaps.
